History of the school

Don Bosco High School was founded by the capuchin fathers with very humble beginnings in a bungalow next to St. Anthony’s Church, 22-Empress Road. The school was established on its present site in the year 1956. The school is owned by the Catholic Church, Archdiocese of Lahore.

Under the leadership of Mr. George William, the former principal, the school has seen a golden period. Early in 2006, the Sisters of St. Joseph of Chambery assumed the responsibility of this educational institution.

The main objectives of the school are to empower the students with necessary qualities and skills to meet challenges in the future and to assume leadership roles in society. The school is known for its co-curricular activities especially basket Ball. The Sister of St. Joseph of Chambery strives to inculcate in individuals committed to their care, the qualities needed to be fully alive. It is the desire of the Sister of St. Joseph to offer the students integrate and wholesome formation and to inculcate in them a vision for their personal lives.
